United Independent School District will provide a six-week grace period for parents to send students to school in standardized uniforms due to the high demand of uniforms and unstocked items in stores. After Sept. 19, all students will be expected to be in full compliance with the Standardized Dress Code. ‘It has come to the district’s attention that parents and students are having difficulty obtaining clothing items that comply with our Standardized Student Dress Code due to supply shortages,’ UISD said in a statement.
